What if

we really prayed like this for our friends?

And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as the walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

I guess it doesn't help if we don't communicate to our friends regarding prayer said on their behalf!

In all seriousness, I prayed for you each day this week. I was surprised at your post, because it so echoed my thoughts for you this week. For example:

I prayed that you will know the Truth, and live in it's freedom. I prayed that you would rest physically and mentally, and find ways to shed stress in your daily life; that you would find pockets of tranquility. I prayed that you would enjoy each day, hand in hand with our Father.

Coincidence? I don't know. What do you think?

Coincidence = God's sovereignty at work in our daily lives. :-) Thank you for your prayers, they mean a lot. KM
