Caspian is now 2 weeks old and he's a beauty. I must admit, I'm looking forward to seeing what he looks like when he grows up. He has a quarter horse butt and a thoroughbred neck. At two weeks he has beautiful from and movement. I'm excited about the future of this horse!

Krista, can you and Eryn help me out? Deanna (13) is taking riding lessons. She does well when she is on her horse but when she is brushing him and doing all the prep, she is very timid and afraid of the horse. I really think riding is great for her and I want her to get over the fear. Do you have any suggestions? How can I help her? Even though she is 13, emotionally she is more like 7 or 8. Thanks ladies :) Love you lots!
Hi Friend, how long has she been taking lessons? It could be that the fear will subside the more time she spends with them. Also, 13 is still young, and with age her fear should lessen too. I wouldn't push her past her comfort zone, though. She has a fear for some reason. With time it should pass. If you want to talk more, i'd love to talk via phone... :-) Love ya, KM
