This time last year, part 11

Another early morning so we could get from our hotel to the Western Wall for a tour of the underground excavations of the entire west side of the wall. Our tour took us underground for about two hours, where we were able to walk the entire length of the ancient wall. From there we went to St Anne's church then walked a portion of the Via Dolorosa up to Herod's Antonio Fortress, where it is believed Jesus was beaten by the Roman guards before His execution. We then went to the Pools of Bethesda, where Jesus healed the lame man. Our last stop of the day was the Shepherds fields between Jerusalem and Bethlehem. When we returned to our hotel in the evening, we were surround by Jewish families celebrating the Sabbath meal.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!
May they be secure who love you!
